Salvador Dali

Post by msj2uk » 10 Oct 2012, 13:16

Salvador Dali was a 20th Century Surreal Artist.
Born May 11, 1904

in Figueres, Catalonia and
died January 23, 1989 aged 84, in Figueres, Catalonia.
Dalí was known for his eccentric manner indulging in 'bizzarre', 'unusual and grandoise' behavior, which along with his huge mostashe often made public news more than his work.
:D :D :D :D :D :D His Surrealist artwork is often used on flyers as it always needs a 2nd look. Putting the viewers imagination to work, with numerous interpretations and explainations as to what they see.

His unique portrait also features on flyers. :D :D :D :D :D Links to flyer info from 'Phatmedia'. http://www.phatmedia.co.uk

'The Hallucinogenic Toreador' painted in 1970 and includes repeated images of statues of Venus De Milo and a speared bull, which merge to form a Bull-Fighter (Torreador) sheading tears on his victory.
