High flyer prices

Post by phatmedia » 16 Nov 2015, 13:24

Roll up roll up grab yerselves a bargain...

For a mere £100K a tatty copy of Dreamscape 1 could be yours.
Very rare as only about 30 000 were ever printed.

An interesting article by Weed from a few years back on why 'Although often advertised as "rare", DS1 is one of the commonest flyers sold individually on eBay. See the Dreamscape section of the Price Guide for an estimate of its current value in mint condition.'
http://www.raveflyers.co.uk/dreamscape.htm

Also some mentions of the Metro article Tav / Angerflyers managed to get them to print re: DS1 = £100k

Good plan Sam, I've edited the threat title so people can add to it with any other exorbitant starting bids or BIN prices. Altho I'd be surprised to see this one beaten!

A few high starting bids newly listed. Be interesting to see if they attract bids as they usually sell for £1-£3.

Mantra - Friday 28th August, 1992 at The Event, Brighton - £20

Fantasy FM Xmas / New Year 1991 Event Flyer - £10 - If anyone does want this I have a few so can do it for swaps or postage.

Can't blame people for trying I guess, but seems like a bit of a waste of time listing at those prices..

Here's one ive not seen before, nothing special but it has the word Fantazia in it so perhaps that justify's the £59.99 starting price.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fantazia-Ques ... SwqrtWoqkU

There is no mention of Fantazia or Quest on the actual event flyer below tho...
It would be a good addition to the flyer but not at that price.

Not seen it before, but can't see anyone being that bothered to pay £60, but then again who knows these days!! :))

Can't knock them for trying.

Edit, just looked at their other listings and all are normal starting prices to the obviously know this one is are / unusual so giving it a try.
