Re: Hello

Hi Pollran88,Welcome to the forum. Would be great to hear any stories you have from the early days. There is some good insight around (on different sites). Some on the recent BBC 'Can you feel it' series but largely focussed on the big names and missed tonnes of promoters that we key to the scene in...

Re: Future flyer from 1988!

Re: Photobucket changes and the impact on this site

Photobucket owners should be shot, what a bunch of money grabbing basts. Safest bet is to upload directly to IAAF i'd have thought. Although could increase site load times .....and your server costs! I use google photos for all my family, work and flyer photos - storage is unlimited for photos and v...

Re: £200+ for a single rave flyer

Cheers PM...great to have the screen shot. Surprised not to have seen more of the early Genesis flyers on ebay over the years. Even if there were 1000's made I wonder whether collectors were less drawn to them than other flyers around at the same time....imo Genesis didn't make the most attractive f...

£200+ for a single rave flyer

Had been watching a few Genesis flyers on ebay (sold last night) ....5 Genesis 1989 flyers sold separately made over £900. One sold for just over £200. Certainly the most expensive flyer i've ever seen! Made me wonder just how rare these flyers are....does anyone know how many were printed in the fi...

Re: Hedonism history website

Cheers Wigs, love the History section of the site. First hand insight into the birth of rave scene.
Wish i'd had the chance to go to Hedonism. I'd sell my left arm for the first flyer....one of the very best.

Rave / Club culture exhibition London

Just spotted this, some great photos. "A new exhibition at London’s Printspace Gallery will shed light on 30 years of British club culture. The photographs span the length and breadth of the concept of raving from block parties and dancehalls to warehouse raves and free parties. The collection featu...
